Holma 35
,on our gardens and gardening
Our garden site, Holma 35
Welcome to our garden site! It is named after our allotment,
Holma 35. It also includes much from the garden at our home in Lund, and
from other places. You will find out.
The site is far from ready, which means that you will find something new
next time you come back.
This is a site about gardening and gardening techniques and also about permaculture and a holistic wiev of gardening. Just as our real-life gardens, this site is a joint project. Jane stands for most of the design, Folke for a lot of the text and pictures, although not all.
To the right is our Norwich terrier Vindla, who share our interest in gardening. Here, Jane helps her with the asparagus pea planting.
The structure of the site
To navigate, it is important to know where to go. This site consists of five main entries that can be found on the drop-down menu above:
- Pictures; where we place the scattered pictures from our gardens that we cannot put elsewhere
- Gardens; about the design of our gardens, as well as detailed maps of our plans, so you can see how well we accomplished them, growning methods of single plant species, about our favourite gardening books, and also links to other sites.
- Howto; About different gardening methods that we want to share, as composting, double-digging, hotbeds and the like
- Blogs; This is an illustrated diary on our doings at our allotment. There, you can follow the progress of our ideas.
- About; Here, you can find out how to contact us to give advices, or to ask questions. You will also find links to Folke's homepage, and Jane's cattery and textile sites.
