At current energy price, the extraction horizon for phosphorus is about 130-150 years. There are also other soucrces that are too diluted or unavailable to be interesting. This may sound ensuring, but should the energy avaialbility change, the extraction horizon will do it too.

General for any mining process is the following:
The minerals first extracted are those most concentrated and easily avaialble, i.e. those needing the least energy per amount to extract (highest YPE).
What is left to extract in the future is therefore the resources that are less available, and therefore are needing more energy per unit to extract.

In a situation where higher energy prices are to be expected, the extraction horizon mentioned above seems very unlikely.
